Science: Water can feel emotions

The recognized doctor Mr. Masaru Emoto wrote an excellent book called Messages from water in which he proves that water molecule structure is directly related to human conscience. It is an excellent work and it is proved by photographies, a scientific work that took years and it is now a worldwide recognized masterpiece.
For those of you who didn´t have the opportunity to read it please let me share with you some very interesting information.

What is HADO?
All molecules are composed by atom combinations. Atoms are composed by electrons and atomic nucleus. As electrons have negative charge and protons positive charge , electrons orbit around the nucleus emitting unique vibration waves. Scientifics call this waves HADO.

Electrons when they repel each other generates a pattern (magnetic resonance field). There is no two similar patterns, in modern science this is called Chaos. The reason why there is no similar patterns is because they vary depending on the conscience of the observer.
HADO means the kingdom of the subtle energies related to conscience synonym of the word Chi in japanese. In order to measure HADO, Mr. Masaru Emoto worked together with doctor Lorenzen from Berkley University with a machine called MRA (Magnetic Resonance Analyzer).
MRA machine is used worldwide in homeopathy in order to classify the best water to treat the patients.

Water , Humans and earth
When the ovule meets the sperm and it becomes fertilized life starts, at that point water is 95% of the ovule. As you all know water represents 70% of any grown up human.
Approximately 70% of the planet is water, we don´t need to talk more about it as this data is clear on how important is water for all animals , earth and life as we know it in the universe.
Did water came from space?
In 1997 the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) announced that they had proofs that water comes from space in microscopic objects (similar to snow) everyday. This has been happening since the earth was formed approximately 4.600.000.000 years ago.
It is now believed that water does come from space and this is why it is very difficult to understand its properties with our earth knowledge and thinking.

The message from the water
After years of studies and thousands of tests, Dr. Masaru and his team proved that water is not stable, the molecule structure varies depending on when and where you look at it. They came to the conclusion that water molecules try by nature to become pure water , this molecule is perfect and beautiful.
One of the experiments was to put music to distilled water, the results were impressive. The water molecules changed their structure depending on the music and they formed beautiful patterns. For pictures and more information about it please buy Mr. Masaru´s book.
I am sure all of you have heard the story of plants and flowers at home or inside an office. If the ambient is good, the flowers will last longer and if it is bad the flowers will die fast. All experiments made by Masaru proof that this is correct, after all if music and emotions can modify the water structure it will definitely affect the health of the flower/plant.
In order to proof this, Dr. Masaru labeled two jars with the words Thank you and I hate you. Everyday a member of the team must talk and feel this emotions in front of the water jar. The results are impressive as you can see the different molecule structure changes. Thank you is shown as a beautiful shaped molecule whether I hate you is shown as chaotic and ugly.

SHUI (The chinese character of water)
It is very mysterious and interesting that the shape of the water molecule is almost exactly the same as the chinese character Shui that means water. Chinese writing is one of the oldest writings still in use and it is proved to be at least 6.600 years BC, it comes from hieroglyphs (same as egyptian).
How they knew this or if it is a huge coincidence is something very personal and I will not talk about this.

My personal conclusion on all this information is:
Feel happiness and love everyday and you will shape the world and reality for good!

Philosophy: The art of love VS The art of war‏

I am sure all of you have read or heard about the excellent tactician Sun Tzu. His book The art of war is one of the best books and best sellers I have ever read, there is no doubt about it. If you are interested about war, read it carefully in detail.
I am not interested in war at all.
In my opinion war can never be an art ; art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination. It is very sad that so many people is interested in war.
Mother Teresa never attended a rally against war as she knew that if you focus on something you will make it stronger. When a journalist asked her why she has never attended a rally against war she said:

The recognized psychologist and social philosopher Erich Fromm presents love as a skill that can be taught and developed. He rejects the idea of loving as something magical and mysterious that cannot be analyzed and explained, and is therefore skeptical about popular ideas such as "falling in love" or being helpless in the face of love. Because modern humans are alienated from each other and from nature, we seek refuge from our aloneness in romantic love and marriage. However, Fromm observes that real love "is not a sentiment which can be easily indulged in by anyone." It is only through developing one's total personality to the capacity of loving one's neighbor with "true humility, courage, faith and discipline" that one attains the capacity to experience real love. This should be considered a rare achievement. Fromm defended these opinions also in interview with Mike Wallace when he states: "love today is a relatively rare phenomenon, that we have a great deal of sentimentality; we have a great deal of illusion about love, namely as a...as something one falls in. But the question is that one cannot fall in love, really; one has to be in love. And that means that loving becomes, and the ability to love, becomes one of the most important things in life."

To master the art of loving is to overcome the desire for control and dependency
I believe The art of love should be  best seller every week in this world. If we keep focusing in wars we will make them stronger. Feel peace and love, if every human on earth focused in this for just a day the world will change forever.

Listen to people in the streets, read the bible, the coran......; Jesus, Mahoma, Buddha, all the greatest influencers in history teach the same principles and nobody seems to understand them.

Please think, feel, focus in love and the world will be immediately better!!

Philosophy: Reality does not exist‏

What is reality? I have heard thousands of times the phrase: "Please be realistic." I usually answer to this saying: "In your reality or in mine?".
Reality is defined by experts as:

First degree reality
Is the reality that is physic and objective, the reality we can all, as humans can see. For example: It is raining , the sun is in the solar system,  universe is huge........ nobody doubts about this reality although it is not so clear for me either as it is also relative in a way. Ask a proton how it sees the first degree reality, it will not believe that the sun can exist as it beyond its knowledge and imagination.

Second degree reality
It is defined as the reality your brain constructs taking into account your genetic intelligence, parent teaching and social learning. We all made up our own rules , values and identity which shapes how we see the first degree reality and how we choose to construct the second degree reality.
As you probably know in some cultures it is a motive of happiness and celebration when somebody dies as it is believed in their culture that they will go to a better place. In my culture if a loved one dies you must cry and be sad for a certain period of time in order to be accepted by the group/community.
What your brain chooses to feel is controlled by the brain itself and the good news is: It can be controlled with focus, discipline and time.

Reality: A construction of your mind
Let me share some scientific information in order to be able to talk about this point:
Perception (from the Latin perceptio, percipio) is the organization, identification, and interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the environment. All perception involves signals in the nervous system, which in turn result from physical stimulation of the sense organs. For example, vision involves light striking the retinas of the eyes, smell is mediated by odor molecules and hearing involves pressure waves. Perception is not the passive receipt of these signals, but can be shaped by learningmemory, and expectation.

"The brain processes 400 Billion bits of information a second. BUT, we are ONLY aware of 2,000 of those." -Dr. Joseph Dispenza, D.C.
"The infinite information that the brain is processing every single second tells us that there's more to the world then we're perceiving." -Dr. Joseph Dispenza, D.C.
"All of our sense of so-called "reality" out there is filtered through our sense organs."

It is now clear that second degree reality is chosen by our brain and we can learn how to control our brain, we can all do it if we are committed to. Dont let others tell you this is not possible.

Let me ask you a question:
Imagine that you are in a plane crash and you survive. You are now in the middle of the Andes without food, proper clothing or training, in fact it is the first time you have ever seen snow in your life. You are hungry and you are over 100 kms away from the first civilized town and the terrain is abrupt, one of the highest on most dangerous mountains on earth.
How do you feel? How can you be "realistic"? How are you going to survive?
People die in this situation when they choose to be afraid and let the brain paralize you, waiting for rescue as , in their map of reality , it is impossible to survive, after all even trained chilenian mapuche soldiers have died when lost in a snowstorm, trained , with proper clothing and with food.

People survive in this situation when they choose to do so by starting to think how to get out. it is a curious fact that all people that survive find a reason to do so and are ready to do anything to live.

I recommend you to read the book; Alive: The story of the Andes to learn more about this.

Perceive with all your senses, think, control the emotion of fear and find the best reason to survive, you will be called a miracle, lucky, etc...... the reality is anybody can do it.

Train your brain and choose the reality you wish to live!!

Modern research psychology: When Mark killed cupid love started dying‏

Internet: One of the best inventions of humanity
I am sure that internet is one of the best inventions of humanity in history. It can make you feel close to millions of people with a click or even see them in photos or better yet, see them in videos ...... even better you can make a videoconference with any place of the world thanks to engineers and satellites.
I have done videoconferences with my cousin Martin in Buenos Aires, real life 10 minute concerts with my wife and my elder daughter playing the drums in Madrid and me and Martin playing the drums in Buenos Aires, this is incredible.... not for my daughter , she hardly understands how we could live without mobile phones and playstations back in the past. One day I expalined her that when I was a teenager I had to go to a telephone booth in order to talk to my friends.... she was astonished.
However I want to share with you my feelings about the risk of internet as global social mammals. Dont forget we are humans, social mammals, and we need to share in a real way, internet can be your best friend and your worst enemy, as the image you see when you look into a mirror. One night I had a nightmare and I was scared, I didnt know why..... what was that horrible animal/human that was scaring me so much? I couldnt see anything. The last thing I remember of my dream is that I looked into a mirror and I saw my worst enemy, the only one that knows better than anybody else your fears and weaknesses..... yourself.
Nobody can warm you as much and nobody can help you as much as yourself, believe me.

When Mark killed Cupid
I am sure all of you know the genius , multi millionaire Mr. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg. For those who still dont know, please ask anybody , they will explain you who he is. The youngest man in Forbes list with a fortune of aproximately USD13.300.000 and growing day by day, click by click.
There is no doubt , he is a genius...... after all 900 million users in 70 different languages cannot be wrong.
However his invention that changed the world for good is, in my opinion, starting to change the world to the dark side.  Let me share with you my point of view: Humans need to be human
According to a very interesting article I read in internet (of course), Facebook could be detrimental to your relationship status:
The study, which will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking, found that people who use Facebook excessively (interpreted by the researchers as checking it more than hourly) are more likely to "experience Facebook–related conflict with their romantic partners, which then may cause negative relationship outcomes including emotional and physical cheating, breakup and divorce"
Russell Clayton, a doctoral student in the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and his colleagues at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and St. Mary's University in San Antonio surveyed 205 Facebook users between the ages of 18 and 82 -- 79 percent of whom reported being in a romantic relationship -- about their use of the social media site and whether or not it had instigated conflict with their current or former partners.
“Previous research has shown that the more a person in a romantic relationship uses Facebook, the more likely they are to monitor their partner’s Facebook activity more stringently, which can lead to feelings of jealousy,” Clayton said. “Facebook-induced jealousy may lead to arguments concerning past partners. Also, our study found that excessive Facebook users are more likely to connect or reconnect with other Facebook users, including previous partners, which may lead to emotional and physical cheating.”
The correlation was strongest among newer relationships; Clayton told Huffington Post Divorce via e-mail that "high levels of Facebook use is associated with negative relationship outcomes for newer couples (three years or less)."
He recommends limiting Facebook usage in order to achieve a healthy, lasting relationship.
Please dont get addict to Facebook or any other social networks, talk, share, laugh, cry, talk to people. I have learned more from a beggar that from some high status people that drive cars that can save a whole town in Africa.

Life with passion!

Modern research psychology: Multiple Intelligences‏

Howard Gardner viewed intelligence as ‘the capacity to solve problems or to fashion products that are valued in one or more cultural setting’. He reviewed the literature using eight criteria or ‘signs’ of an intelligence:
Potential isolation by brain damage. The existence of idiots savants, prodigies and other exceptional individuals.
An identifiable core operation or set of operations.
A distinctive development history, along with a definable set of ‘end-state’ performances.
An evolutionary history and evolutionary plausibility.
Support from experimental psychological tasks.
Support from psychometric findings.
Susceptibility to encoding in a symbol system.
Candidates for the title ‘an intelligence’ had to satisfy a range of these criteria and must include, as a prerequisite, the ability to resolve ‘genuine problems or difficulties’ within certain cultural settings.
Howard Gardner initially formulated a list of seven intelligences. His listing was provisional. The first two have been typically valued in schools; the next three are usually associated with the arts; and the final two are what Howard Gardner called ‘personal intelligences’.
Linguistic intelligence involves sensitivity to spoken and written language, the ability to learn languages, and the capacity to use language to accomplish certain goals. This intelligence includes the ability to effectively use language to express oneself rhetorically or poetically; and language as a means to remember information. Writers, poets, lawyers and speakers are among those that Howard Gardner sees as having high linguistic intelligence.
Logical-mathematical intelligence consists of the capacity to analyze problems logically, carry out mathematical operations, and investigate issues scientifically. In Howard Gardner’s words, it entails the ability to detect patterns, reason deductively and think logically. This intelligence is most often associated with scientific and mathematical thinking.
Musical intelligence involves skill in the performance, composition, and appreciation of musical patterns. It encompasses the capacity to recognize and compose musical pitches, tones, and rhythms. According to Howard Gardner musical intelligence runs in an almost structural parallel to linguistic intelligence.
Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence entails the potential of using one’s whole body or parts of the body to solve problems. It is the ability to use mental abilities to coordinate bodily movements. Howard Gardner sees mental and physical activity as related.
Spatial intelligence involves the potential to recognize and use the patterns of wide space and more confined areas.
Interpersonal intelligence is concerned with the capacity to understand the intentions, motivations and desires of other people. It allows people to work effectively with others. Educators, salespeople, religious and political leaders and counsellors all need a well-developed interpersonal intelligence.
Intrapersonal intelligence entails the capacity to understand oneself, to appreciate one’s feelings, fears and motivations. In Howard Gardner’s view it involves having an effective working model of ourselves, and to be able to use such information to regulate our lives.
In Frames of Mind Howard Gardner treated the personal intelligences ‘as a piece’. Because of their close association in most cultures, they are often linked together. However, he still argues that it makes sense to think of two forms of personal intelligence. Gardner claimed that the seven intelligences rarely operate independently. They are used at the same time and tend to complement each other as people develop skills or solve problems.
In essence Howard Gardner argued that he was making two essential claims about multiple intelligences. That:
The theory is an account of human cognition in its fullness. The intelligences provided ‘a new definition of human nature, cognitively speaking’. Human beings are organisms who possess a basic set of intelligences.
People have a unique blend of intelligences. Howard Gardner argues that the big challenge facing the deployment of human resources ‘is how to best take advantage of the uniqueness conferred on us as a species exhibiting several intelligences’.

These intelligences, according to Howard Gardner, are amoral – they can be put to constructive or destructive use.

Sales team leading: Learning process, Four stages of competence

Abraham Maslow defines four stages of competence in the learning process, it is very interesting to understand them in order to be able to complete a learning process successfully:

1. Unconscious incompetence

You don´t know what you don´t know. At this stage you are not aware of what you have to improve. Keep your eyes open and think about what do you want or need to change in order to achieve success in that particular field. A lot of people live in this stage as they are not in control of their emotions and they belief emotions control them. They just react to live instead of being in control of it.

2. Conscious incompetence

You know what you don´t know but you still don´t know how to do it. When you notice that you need to change it is the most interesting stage because you will start to notice what is your target and you will start thinking what you need to start doing to be/do/achieve what you want. It is very helpful to pick a model (someone that masters this particular field) and mirror him. Mirroring is very helpful , someone that masters a field is doing particular strategies in order to get to this point, learning from them will save us time.

3. Conscious  competence

You know what you don´t know and you know how to do it. You learned the strategies, attitudes, physiology and mental process that you need to learn in order to achieve the goal. At this stage you will make an effort to apply the strategies everyday. This stage can take days, months or years depending on the difficulty of the target. It can be slow and frustrating but remember that with discipline and effort you can achieve any goal.

4. Unconscious competence

You do things with success and you don´t need to think about how to do them anymore. I am sure at some point of your life you did something right and you could not explain why. Once you pass the conscious competence stage you will be able to achieve peak performance without having to think about it. Usually people that don´t make the effort and stay in the first, second or third stages will say that you are a lucky man.

You can tell them: The more I work and effort the more lucky I am!

Apply this to anything you want to learn and with time, patience and discipline you will be able to master it!

Sales team leading: The tricked dice: It always shows the number 6 !

In our courses we do the exercise of the tricked dice. It is a very simple exercise that will show everybody fast that anything is possible if you are committed enough.
Let me explain you how it works:
1. You tell the people to through a "tricked" dice telling them that it is tricked to show always the number 6. This statement will make the person to be playful , everybody likes to play, we are all humans. Once they are open to play they will break down their protective strategies and their brain will be ready for the exercise.
2. People start throwing the dice and usually neither the first or the second time the number shown is 6. This is good for the exercise as they will laugh and tell you that you are wrong.
3. Once they see this they will tell you that the tricked dice is not working. Their brain starts thinking why is not working and what is the point of throwing a dice specially a non tricked dice.
4. Tell them to keep throwing the dice ……… how many times?…….. until it shows the number 6 of course!
5. Once they realize they will tell you, ok that way is easy, if I keep throwing the dice it is obvious that it will always eventually show the number 6.
6. Then is when we use their own words to shown them and ask them: Doesn´t it happen the same with all things in life?
It is critical to get them to say this with their our words because if other say something it is questionable but if they say it themselves it is right automatically, after all we always think that we are right, if not we will change and do/think the correct way!
Use this simple and fast exercise to show your team, family or friends that everything is possible in life, if you keep throwing the dice with passion it will always show 6 ;)

Sales team leading: The 80 / 20 law

It is a common behavior for a salesman to talk very much, in fact it is believed that talking a lot is better for the sale. Nothing further apart from reality.
The ideal percentage of talking for a salesman should be around 20% of the conversation and the other 80% should be talked by the customer. After all , we need as salesmen to:

1. Listen. Listening is more important than talking because you can find the customers needs, values, pains and wounds. Everybody loves to feel that the other person is listening, it is the key to create empathy.
2. Care. Only sincere care about the customer will head you to the next step. Having the customers best interest in mind is the only way to make a real connection.
3. Find their wounds , study their necessities in order to be able to solve their problems.
4. Heal their wounds ideally using your service if possible.
Usually as salesmen we are very impulsive, visual and we tend to talk too much.
Please all salesmen remember: Listen, care, find their wounds  and heal the customer.
They key is talk less and listen more, never forget the 80/20 law!!!!

Sales team leading: Dont treat others as you like to be treated

One of the biggest problems in human relation is the world wide recognized phrase: Treat others as you like to be treated.

Even though everybody has said this phrase at least once in their life and it is a well known recognized paradigm this is a totally wrong concept. Each individual is different from each other, therefore they have different rules, beliefs, identities and motivational strategies.

Not only in different cultures what is accepted in one place can be offensive in others, it also happens in the same country, in the same office , in the same home..... we were all borned in different places, with different families and even if born in the same family we had different social experiences and therefore learned different strategies in order to survive and be accepted in the group. Our identities have been shaped by our experiences, our beliefs..... that is why they are all different and unique.

Lots of studies have been made since ancient times in order to try to simplify and create what "so called" personality types in order to be able to study human behaviour. Once having clear the personality type of each individual , their beliefs, rules and motivational strategies we must do a big effort to treat and motivate each person in the best way for them, in order to achieve their 100% potential.

Everybody is able to perform at a top level if motivated properly, the reason you or your team is not at peak performance is only the excuse you chose to justify it.

Please dont forget, teamleaders, co workers...... everybody:

Dont treat others as YOU like to be treated

Treat others as THEY like to be treated!

Sales team leading: Put a dolphin in your team

I have heard a lot about sharks in business, however i have never heard about dolphins in business.

What is a dolphin? Dolphins are cooperative, intelligent and social mammals, hard workers and ready to do everything for their herd. Dolphins are also defined as number 7 in the eneagram personality type. All personality types are important inside a team, but there is not a most important member in a sales team than a number 7, the dolphin.

1. Motivation. A dolphin is always happy and willing to start again after bad news. Even after a huge disappointment the dolphin will start immediately again.

2. Cooperation. Dolphins, as social mammals are willing to cooperate and sacrifice for their herd. Cooperation beyond egos and competition is critical for a sales team.

3. Influence. Dolphins are excellent influencers and their state is usually transmitted to teammates. As selling is transference of emotion, the team needs to be as close to their 100 per cent performance as possible every day.

4. Flexibility. Dolphins are flexible; they can change their approach and learn from a teammate or team leader in order to me more helpful for the herd in the future.

5. Perseverance. A well motivated dolphin will never stop until the herd’s objective is achieved, they can work hours overtime and more important feel happy about it.

6. Success. As all previous points are the path to success, if they are highly motivated by a team leader, dolphins are destined to success.

Of course team leaders work is to make sure that all different personalities in their company are sane, happy and working at their best every day. Trust me, no other personality will give you more in sales that a happy, sane and loved dolphin.

Put a dolphin in your team ;)
